Sloppy Soma is a variation of the classic Soma Cube puzzle by Piet Hein from 1933. This version has the cutting planes at an 88-degrees angle, instead of 90. This makes the puzzle look sloppy. It also makes the puzzle harder to solve, as it is never clear whether two pieces fit together. The puzzle took 11 hours to 3D print on a Dutchy 3D printer. 36 meter of 1.75-mm PLA filament was used to print it. The puzzle weighs 108 grams. Oskar van Deventer, 12 December 2021 Oskar van Deventer has created many different puzzles including his brand of Oskar Puzzles which are mechanical puzzles and objects that can only exist thanks to 3D printing technology.  Since 1978, he has been creating hundreds of mechanical puzzles, making him one of the world's most prolific designers. Several of his innovative designs are commercially available.
